11th Chinese Middle School Games to kick off in Baotou
The 11th Chinese Middle School Games will kick off Saturday night in the city of Baotou in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Some 3,000 student-athletes from 34 delegations around the country will compete in nine events: track and field, swimming, basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis, martial arts, shuttlecock and aerobics.
It is the largest edition in the history of the bi-annual sports gala for the middle school students.
The six-day games will conclude on July 21.
